NetXactics, the southern African distributor for Sophos, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, today announced that the latter had been confirmed by Frost and Sullivan as delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction within the anti-virus industry.
In a market research exercise that compared anti-virus companies and their products, Sophos came first in over half of the classifications covered in the survey.
These categories included the reputation of the vendor, the quality of customer support, product comprehensiveness and an overall satisfaction rating.
Frost and Sullivan concluded that Sophos customers are the most satisfied of all anti-virus customers, and that Sophos`s superior ratings places the company in a very strong position to extend its current client base.
"The opinion of our customers plays an important part in the way we conduct our business," commented Petra Merne, Head of Marketing at Sophos.
"Our attitude to customer support is the one criteria that continues to set us apart in this highly competitive industry and the reason more and more dissatisfied anti-virus users are switching to Sophos. Tributes like this, especially from such a reputable consultancy, demonstrate that we are meeting customer expectations and, in many cases, exceeding them."
Frost & Sullivan was founded in 1961 with the specific mission to provide world-class market consulting on emerging high technology and industrial markets.
