South Africa a key expanding market for StorageCraft

Johannesburg, 09 Mar 2012

StorageCraft Technology Corporation, the leading provider of real-time recovery technology and data protection in both physical and virtual environments, has appointed Paul Harris as Regional Manager South Africa.

The move follows his appointment a year ago as Sales Engineering and Strategic Alliances Manager. Harris, a South African expatriate, has been focused on growing the company's base in Australia and New Zealand, and is the perfect choice to manage the South African market due to his intimate knowledge of the local industry. He will be leveraging his extensive experience and knowledge of StorageCraft's business and products to ensure South African customers receive only the highest levels of service.

Greg Wyman, Vice-President - Asia Pacific for StorageCraft, says the company sees South Africa as a key expanding market, so having someone with Harris' commercial experience and technical skills available locally will enable StorageCraft to raise its profile and capability in the region.

StorageCraft is committed to providing its customers with knowledgeable and highly-skilled personnel. This ensures that resellers can grow their businesses with appropriate StorageCraft representation and that end-users have the right tools and information to deploy StorageCraft solutions that target their specific needs. "We understand that our customers' technical requirements can be at completely opposite ends of the scale; this is why we provide them with assistance by experienced StorageCraft professionals. Paul Harris's skills and experience will be invaluable in helping our new customers and partners in South Africa,” Wyman says.

Harris' expertise encompasses 25 years' hands-on experience focused on delivering excellence with enterprise infrastructure solution sets in different roles as a vendor, integrator and end-user. In his previous capacities, he ran the largest storage technologies facility in Australia for Telstra across four data centres, and built a national storage services practice focused on delivering data management outcomes for one of Australia's largest systems integrators.

StorageCraft is exclusively represented by Phoenix Software.
