It has been an exciting month here at SpamTitan Technologies. We've been working hard to finalise SpamTitan v6.01, our latest product release, which will be available soon. SpamTitan 6.01 will offer you enhanced and even more powerful e-mail security with additional outbound mail relaying features, improved application controls, and multiple UI enhancements. With all this excitement, we almost forgot about the extensive industry research we conducted into The Risks Posed by Social Media, with Osterman Research.
Our developers have been working hard for the past few weeks, to bring you the latest version of SpamTitan. We're excited to announce the addition of great new features such as advanced policy-based rate controls, added support for domain realms, as well as improvements to Greylisting UI pagination and disk space monitoring. SpamTitan 6.01 is jam-packed with loads of great features.
We published a white paper at the beginning of March, based on original research conducted by Osterman Research during November 2013. The research investigated the many risks posed by social media. Because e-mail, Web and social media tools are extensively used in the vast majority of organisations, security for all of these tools must be of paramount importance. There is significant potential for malware and other threats to impact organisations as they enter through corporate e-mail systems, Web applications, and social media tools. The potential for financial and other damage is enormous.
SpamTitan will be attending the ITWeb Security Summit in South Africa from 27-29 May at the Sandton Convention Centre, Maude Street, Sandown. For more information, go to www.securitysummit.co.za. Join the conversation on Twitter at #itwebsec.
