Spanish company Presence Technology and multinational ICT group, Spescom, have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, Spescom will market Presence Technology contact centre solutions - specifically the CRM Optimizer product - in Africa.
CRM Optimizer solutions significantly improve the interaction between contact centres and customers, regardless of the medium used, whether it is voice, Internet, e-mail, VOIP, call back, or SMS messaging.
According to Paul Fick, Managing Director of Spescom DataFusion, the group's contact centre operation, training has already commenced. "Presence's products complement our current product range well and will afford our contact centre customers significant additional functionality and business benefits."
William Weber, CEO of Presence Technology, notes that the agreement is an important development for the Spanish company. "Spescom's leadership in the contact centre arena opens up the African market for us and aids our strategic goal of expansion into international markets."
