Altris Software, Inc. the Document Service Provider for e Business, today announced the release of eB 12.2, the latest version of its highly robust and secure integrated document management suite.
Altris has also announced that along with this version, the company has certified the products to operate on Microsoft Windows 2000 client and server operating systems. A number of Altris customers plan to immediately implement on the Windows 2000 platform, including Microsoft and Continental Airlines.
Altris eB 12.2 contains a number of important enhancements including Web Connect 2.0, the powerful user friendly Web product that allows document management capabilities over the web; a simpler means of entering large numbers of documents of a similar nature; and a number of substantial improvements in eB CAD Connect for use with both AutoCad versions 14 and 2000 and MicroStation/J.
Altris eB Web Connect provides a bridge between industry-standard Internet/Intranet browsers and the eB document management system, allowing the secure transfer of information across the Internet, Intranet or Extranet. Users can access the data in the eB vault, using interfaces such as eB Web-Connect, eB Workplace, eB Office-Connect and eB CAD-Connect, as well as custom interfaces.
