SPI, the leading African distributor for Bottomline Technologies, today announced the latter's 'Transform Content Centre', a digital document archive, search and retrieval application.
Transform Content Centre automates the labour-intensive, manual processes of sorting, filing and retrieving a business' most critical transactional documents, payments and related files. An organisation can automatically archive all of its ERP and business application output into easily accessible files without costly changes or customisation of its existing IT systems.
Leveraging Transform Content Centre's self-service Web application, all archived files are indexed and made available for instant search and retrieval from a convenient Web browser, dramatically increasing the efficiency of a company's business processes, while reducing the costs and hassles of paper document handling and storage.
Transform Content Centre features
* Browser-based access to all documents and related files stored in a secure Web application
* The acceptance of business output from the full portfolio of Bottomline document and payment platforms, including Create!form, FormScape, Optio, Transform AP, PayBase and WebSeries
* Role-based security integration with Microsoft Active Directory for streamlined user access management
* Password encryption at the document and file level for additional safeguards against unauthorised viewing and printing
* Select single or multiple documents for distribution via fax, print or e-mail
* Full text search on particular keywords, sentences or phrases
* User-specific views of document file types and status
* E-mail alerts regarding arrival of documents and document status changes
* The facility to link different document types, eg, purchase order, delivery or invoice, via a common keyword
“This solution has good functionality, is very affordable and completely scalable,” commented Chris Anderson, Managing Director of SPI. “We were surprised how receptive our customers have been to this new initiative from Bottomline, to the extent that several of them are already utilising the product in South Africa.”
