SPI partners with Linoma Software for GoAnywhere

SPI, the African distributor for utility software products and services to the open systems segment of the IT industry, today announced it has been appointed as the sub-Saharan Africa sole distributor for GoAnywhere products from Linoma Software.

Three of the key products are:

* GoAnywhere Director, a managed file transfer solution that will automate and secure the exchange of data with customers, trading partners and enterprise servers. It provides a single point of control with multi-step workflow abilities, management controls and detailed audit trails. GoAnywhere Director's intuitive interface and comprehensive workflow features help eliminate the need for custom programs/scripts, single-function tools and manual processes. This managed file transfer and secure FTP automation solution will reduce costs, improve the quality of your data transmissions, and help organisations to comply with data security policies and regulations.

* GoAnywhere Services, a secure FTP server (and optional Web server) that allows customers, trading partners and employees to connect to your system and exchange files. This is an on-premises solution that includes enterprise SFTP, FTPS and FTP Servers with extensive management controls and audit log reporting. An HTTPS server can also be enabled for performing ad-hoc file transfers and sending secure mail through an intuitive browser-based interface.

* GoAnywhere Gateway, an enhanced reverse proxy and forward proxy that provides an additional layer of security when exchanging data with trading partners.
