Spice Group restructures for growth
Spice Group has announced major restructuring plans to consolidate existing businesses, explore new business opportunities and work on expanding global business operations, reports VARIndia.
This is in sync with the group's vision to be the preferred choice of energetic young minds for products and services in the telecom and entertainment verticals by 2011.
The new Spice business structure consolidates the group's businesses under four major sector-based verticals: Telecom through a new holding company - Spice Televentures; Entertainment; Financial and capital market services; and IT and related technology verticals.
Aspect Software names executive VP
Aspect Software, a company engaged in unified communications (UC) for the contact centre, has appointed Kevin Schwartz as its executive VP of global professional services, states CBR Online.
Schwartz will be responsible for building a professional services and systems integration practice for Microsoft's UC software that is a significant part of the Aspect Software Unified Communications for the contact centre strategy.
The initial objective of the new UC services practice is to help customers deploy, customise and manage office communications servers in contact centres and throughout organisations for software-powered voice, instant messaging, presence and conferencing.
Four Soft appoints COO
Four Soft, a provider of software solutions for transportation and logistics industry, announced today that Rajshekhar Roy has joined in the capacity of chief operating officer, says Money Control.
Roy will look after the overall global operations of Four Soft, which includes all regional business operations in USA, Asia and Europe for sales and customer service.
He will also be responsible for corporate functions such as marketing, product development, quality and technology.
