Marking its 10-year milestone developing customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for automating sales, marketing, service and support teams, GoldMine Software held its Seventh Annual Solutions Partner Conference to recognise its reseller channel last month.
"The entire GoldMine team as well as our ISVs were able to meet face to face with all of our resellers to share the vision, new technologies and ideas together in one powerful forum," says Edwin Gear, GoldMine Software SA MD.
"They, along with our customers, are the life force of GoldMine and we`re proud to say we have the strongest CRM channel out there. In South Africa alone we already have 12 channel partners flying the GoldMine flag as we prepare for a surge of interest with the release of GoldMine FrontOffice 2000 early next year. "In addition to break-out sessions ranging in topics from sales and marketing in the CRM arena, to product direction and enhancements, attendees were invited to hear keynote speaker, Microsoft president Steve Ballmer.
"It was a pleasure to be able to come here to talk to people who are at the front-end of what I think is the hottest category around," Ballmer stated. "I believe the CRM category that GoldMine is in will perhaps be the hottest application category for the next five years."
