With its recent R3 million acquisition of eMessageX.com, electronic messaging specialist Striata is poised to extend its offering in the digital communications sphere, further enhancing its market leading position in electronic billing and messaging.
"The acquisition enhances our capability in e-marketing strategy and execution," says Striata MD, Alison Treadaway. "The skills and experience acquired from eMessageX.com significantly increases Striata's ability to offer a broader electronic communication solution to the market."
Candy Goodman, eMessageX.com director and now member of the Striata SA executive management team, comments that the combination of the skill sets of the two companies gives the South African market the benefit of a full electronic communication service from a single source with a single line of responsibility.
"eMessageX.com is now the e-marketing and e-strategy arm of Striata and there will be a valuable cross-flow of services and expertise into our respective client bases," says Goodman.
Treadaway adds that both companies have the skills to understand customer needs and translate these into business requirements.

With eMessageX.com on board Treadaway is upbeat about what lies ahead for Striata in the provision of strategic communication services across e-mail, interactive Web sites and SMS channels.

The integration of the two companies has been completed with all eMessageX.com management and staff having moved into Striata's headquarters in Rosebank.
