Electronic communication specialist, Striata, this week announced the launch of its global distribution strategy. Focusing on North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe, Striata plans to actively expand the distribution of its software into these regions.
To mark this significant milestone in the company's development, Striata announced its international offices and has launched its global Web site. Highlighting its growing presence in the global regions, the new Web site provides a regional view of Striata's offering and details the ongoing expansion of the Striata Application Platform.
Says CEO Michael Wright: "Having proven our technology in the local market and having success with sales in Singapore and the UK, we are now more actively targeting the global markets with what we believe is a unique and functionally superior software platform. Our research into these regions has shown that while this is a highly competitive environment, there is space for a cost-effective, multi-channel messaging platform that focuses primarily on secure document delivery by e-mail."
Striata's global distribution strategy will build on channel relationships, creating a network of distributors and resellers that are established in their particular markets. Based on a multi-level distribution structure, the programme combines Striata's software expertise in electronic communication and billing, with each partner's integration capabilities and synergistic product and service offerings.
Says Wright: "Our strategy is not to create a global services organisation. The product research and development team will remain based in SA, while our global sales and marketing approach is to work with partners."
