Daimler Chrysler Services offers tailor-made products designed to accommodate its customers' financial requirements, with offerings that include finance and leasing products and insurance and warranty protection. Striata's eBilling Suite is used to deliver monthly statements encrypted via e-mail, as well as automated mobile text messages (SMS).

By using the Striata eBilling Suite to deliver statements and other communications, Daimler Chrysler Services bypasses high-cost traditional print and post-based billing and document distribution, by converting to electronic delivery of confidential documents and notifications by SMS and encrypted e-mail.
"Adopting the e-billing route has to date helped Daimler Chrysler enhance customer interaction," says Turner. "The user-friendly administration interface, coupled with comprehensive reporting, has helped the motoring giant improve its customer service efficiency."
Built into the Striata eBilling Suite is the ability to personalise messages based on customer profiles. This targeted marketing capability will be an invaluable tool for Daimler Chrysler to increase product awareness and enhance customer retention. In addition, the statements can be customised to convey various marketing messages, which means Daimler Chrysler Services can ensure that statement messages are in line with existing marketing campaigns.
