Striata, StrategyCore partner to bring eBilling to Japan

Striata, a leading provider of e-mail bill presentment and payment solutions, has partnered with StrategyCore, a Japan-based consulting firm that is focused on business development in the Japanese, Chinese and Australian markets. The partnership agreement was signed in August 2010 and adds to Striata's growing network of partners in Asia.

Together with StrategyCore, Striata aims to challenge the traditional e-billing model in these regions. Today, the standard Pull eBilling model requires users to log onto biller Web sites from a bill reminder sent via e-mail.

Striata's offering utilises Push e-mail delivery technology that enables billers to send fully encrypted, secure electronic versions of the bill or statement to their customers' inboxes. This optimal customer convenience results in greater e-billing adoption, high paper turn-off rates and lower call centre enquiries. Personalised, trackable marketing offers can also be included in every e-mailed bill and statement, allowing billers to achieve immediate and measurable response rates.
