Computer hardware distributor, Annex, has added a server assembly division and a dedicated technical support team since the former computer division of Arrow Altech was taken over and renamed by Sahara Holdings last year.
"We have emerged as a stronger team and aim to win about 33% of the Intel server market by the end of the year," says Simon Pretorius, Annex Distribution Server Division Manager. "We have several major targets we are determined to meet.
"Our focus will be on the Intel Server product because this is where we earned our recognition in the past," says Pretorius. "We are ready to take on the market and grow our technical support".
"We have several plans to differentiate ourselves from other players in the market," concludes Pretorius, "and one of these is that as a subsidiary of Sahara Holdings, Annex has the advantage of making use of Sahara`s footprint in Africa to reach new markets."
