The Innovation Hub, a subsidiary of Blue IQ, saw 25 students graduate from the CoachLab leadership programme last Thursday.
Focusing on the fields of ICT and engineering, the programme runs annually from March to November, says Blue IQ. Postgraduate students participating in the programme are required to work on predetermined projects, which are supervised by industry experts.

The Innovation Hub CEO McLean Sibanda says the target for 2012 is to enrol 50 students. According to Sibanda, the CoachLab programme was launched in 2001 as a pilot activity of “The Hub2B” with support from the University of Pretoria, Epi-Use and The Innovation Hub as the facilitator.
He adds that the programme's success led to a second CoachLab site. Moreover, negotiations are being concluded to establish CoachLab at the Vanderbijlpark Campus of the University of the North West.
