Not many monitors can claim to deliver first-rate 17-inch viewing technology as well as pack-up-and-go portability. The Samsung SyncMaster 172T LCD monitor, available from Tarsus Technologies, is one that can.

Along with the thin screen, Samsung has included a slender one-body stand, which again saves space while maintaining the stability of the display. The two-hinge system design allows users to fold the monitor freely, making it as flexible as a notebook PC while ensuring the display`s tilt and height can safely and easily be adjusted.
The SyncMaster 172T includes VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) mounting - which allows for Flat Panel Monitors, Flat Displays and Flat TVs to be mounted on the wall, with or without a separate stand for in-house advertising or presentations.
"To ensure the 172T monitors are future-proof, Samsung has taken future connectivity expansion into account," adds Campbell. "Not only can this system handle current analogue signal processing, but also any digital processing that will be required in future. Additionally, with the dual interface users can extend application usage by either connecting one system to two monitors, or one monitor to two systems."
