Cognos SA, the business intelligence specialist, has announced that Cognos Series 7 achieved SunTone certification for applications. Cognos Series 7, a comprehensive business intelligence solution, offers performance, reliability, scalability, operational event detection and alerting to wireless devices.
The SunTone certification initiative, led by Sun Microsystems, promotes 24x7 service and reliability as a norm for consumer and business Internet-based services.

By achieving SunTone certification, Cognos demonstrates its commitment to providing customers and partners with solutions that deliver high level performance, security and availability on the Sun Solaris platform.
