
Sun expands channel programme
Sun Microsystems has expanded its software channel programme to leverage the market momentum behind its software products, says Market Watch.
As part of this broader initiative, Sun revealed significant enhancements to the Sun Partner Advantage Programme with the introduction of the Open Access Channel Programme and a set of new software specialties.
Sun's new channel partners include open source powerhouses GlassFish application server, MySQL database, OpenSolaris operating system and xVM VirtualBox.
Wyse selects top partner

Ribbit unveils programme
Ribbit, a cellular phone provider, has released Ribbit for Salesforce CRM and its channel partner programme, reports Market Watch.
The 2.0 release builds on Ribbit's integration of mobile voice communications with Salesforce CRM by adding landline and instant messaging communications.
The partner programme brings Ribbit's voice and Web services integration platform to the growing software as a service ecosystem, including systems integrators, resellers, and telecoms service providers.
