From the 28th April 2003 Computer Storage Services (CSSI) will offer educational institutes and research councils discounted prices on data recovery. This offer will extend to the members of these institutes including students and faculty members.
Research and documentations of an educational nature have a significant value to these institutes and CSSI has recovered close to a hundred projects for both students, the educational and research institutes in the past six months.
However, the costs of recovery of such material and the constrained budgets within some of these organizations result in the inability to finance sufficient backup systems and in most cases the data is to costly to recover.
As a local project, CSSI will now assist these individuals and institutes and provide services at substantially reduced costs.
The guidelines set to benefit from this new offering is:
* That the data medium is NOT for commercial use.
* That a Valid ID card from the Educational or Research Institute be presented.
* The data to be recovered has a direct connection to your studies or school. The reduced reconstruction fee is valid for diskettes, Hard Drives, Zip, Jaz, Syquest, MO`s, and Flash Cards/ Micro Drives.
CSSI has always offered free evaluation on all Media sent in for recovery and will continue to do so for these sectors in the economy.
