Network Technical, Sweden`s largest server and PC manufacturer, has announced an exclusive agreement with Adaptec to integrate and resell its award-winning RAID products and storage solutions. Adaptec was selected over competing RAID products from Mylex and LSI. Network Technical had previously been integrating RAID products from Mylex.
Network Technical will integrate Adaptec`s highly scalable RAID products and storage solutions throughout its entire family of servers. Using Adaptec`s common RAID management and configuration interface, Network Technical servers will feature simplified and consistent configuration, installation and management.
Cindy Jankelow, Adaptec product specialist at Drive Control Corporation (DCC), says: "Even though this agreement does not impact the local market, it reinforces our decision to distribute Adaptec products. This agreement enhances Adaptec`s reputation and provides DCC with the knowledge that Adaptec is a key player in the RAID market, and if their product is suitable for a server and PC manufacturer, it is suitable for our resellers and end-users."
