Sybase South Africa has announced its Early Adopter Programme for Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 12.5.1, the latest release of the company's enterprise-class relational database.
Participants in the programme, effective immediately, will have free use of a beta version of ASE 12.5.1, along with access to support from the Sybase experts and engineers responsible for designing the solution.
"ASE provides the most cost-efficient enterprise-class data management platform for addressing the performance, security and scalability demands of business-critical enterprise applications," says Tahzier Isaacs, marketing manager for Sybase South Africa. "The ASE 12.5.1 Early Adopter Programme offers developers the opportunity to experience the new features in ASE 12.5.1 first-hand, and get a jump start in developing and deploying more powerful and resource-efficient data management applications."
Sybase ASE has established itself as one of the most cost-effective data management platforms, and builds on this reputation with the introduction of key enhancements to help drive down the total cost of ownership and operations. New features include self-management, content management and integration technologies, and enhanced security and privacy controls.
A free Early Adopter version of ASE 12.5.1 is available effective immediately, and will be offered until the product becomes generally available from September.
