Sybase positioned by leading analyst firm in Leaders' quadrant in multi-channel access gateway Magic Quadrant

Johannesburg, 27 Nov 2007

Sybase has announced it has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders' quadrant in its Magic Quadrant for Multi-Channel Access Gateway, 2007 (1). The multi-channel access gateway (MAG) market includes mobile middleware and application vendors, and mobile specialists that embed multi-channel capability within specialised or general-purpose tools.

"We are proud to be positioned by Gartner in the Leaders' quadrant for the Multi-Channel Access Gateway," said Raj Nathan, CMO of Sybase. "We believe that this report from Gartner demonstrates our commitment to the Sybase Unwired Enterprise strategy. In my opinion, our leadership position is due to the value and trust customers place in Sybase as the most comprehensive, end-to-end mobility solution on the market today."

"Sybase continues to drive mobile middleware innovation and leadership with products such as the Sybase Information Anywhere Suite, a secure, scalable mobile software platform that addresses the converging IT requirements of enterprises today," says Sybase SA's director of mobile business, Julie Tomlinson.
