Developers, database administrators, IT managers, sales professionals and executives from 40 countries around the world are meeting in Las Vegas this week for the annual Sybase TechWave User Training and Solutions Conference.

This year, Sybase is highlighting the next phase of its unwired enterprise strategy - taking mobility to the last mile by simplifying the development of mobility solutions to reach beyond the enterprise to the consumer, and delivering broader and deeper business intelligence anytime, anywhere.

"I am proud of Sybase`s continued technical innovation and focus on ways to help speed up and simplify unwiring the enterprise," said John Chen, chairman, CEO and president of Sybase.

"TechWave attendees have the opportunity to learn from their peers through real-world examples of businesses that are leveraging Sybase`s information mobility and management solutions to create a competitive edge - today and in the future."

Included in the conference will be the Sybase Innovator Award Winners announcements. "These awards go to partners and customers who have demonstrated the most innovative use of Sybase and Sybase iAnywhere technologies that enable themselves, or their customers, to take advantage of the benefits of the unwired enterprise by utilising enterprise and mobile infrastructure, development and integration and software solutions," says Chen.
