Symantec's Norton AntiVirus earns 14th Virus Bulletin 100% award

Symantec is only anti-virus vendor to earn award for eighth consecutive time

Symantec Corp. today announced that Norton AntiVirus received it's 14th Virus Bulletin 100% award, placing Symantec as the only anti-virus vendor to receive the award eight times in a row. The April 2001 testing was completed on the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system. The prestigious VB100% logo is awarded to products that detect in the wild viruses, as tracked by the WildList Organisation, during both on-demand and on-access scanning.
