Symantec SA today announced that Norton AntiVirus is the top selling software product at Incredible Connection stores countrywide. Three Symantec solutions--Norton AntiVirus, Norton SystemWorks, and Norton Internet Security-are available at Incredible Connection stores countrywide and are topping the software bestseller lists.
"Norton AntiVirus has been our best selling product since the Melissa virus struck last year. Monthly sales of Norton AntiVirus now average about 250% compared to the same period last year. It is our best selling software products in terms of both units and value." said Bernice Hynard, Software Buyer at Incredible Connection.
"We are also excited by the strong growth of Norton SystemWorks - Symantec's problem-solving software suite - and Symantec's Internet security offering, Norton Internet Security. Norton Internet Security was introduced in our business in February. We believe that this is a strategic product because it offers not only the Norton AntiVirus functionality but allows home users to control their children's internet usage and offers a personal firewall to customers concerned about security. This product allows us to offer secure solutions at an affordable price". said Hynard.

In the US, all three products have been named to PC Data's list of the Top-Selling Business Software for March 2000. Norton Internet Security 2000 is the first Internet Security Suite to appear on PC Data's Top 10 Best-Selling Business Software Titles list. Norton AntiVirus and Norton SystemWorks are also on the list in the number 1 and number 3 spots respectively.
