Through the integration of unique, patented technology, Syntech, an IT and distribution company in SA, has partnered with Korea-based portable input applications company Celluon to create The Epic, a Bluetooth laser keyboard that projects a full size (10 x 24cm) Qwerty keyboard onto most flat surfaces.
The Epic is a successor to Celluon's popular flagship product, the Magic Cube, with an all-new design, smaller form factor and improved optics. According to Syntech, it has superior usability and accuracy, with a lot of innovation and productivity packed into a portable device - the size of a matchbox.
Pairing is done via Bluetooth and the device is compatible with iOS, Android, BlackBerry, PC and Mac platforms. The built-in battery lasts for about two hours, with charging done via USB. It also doubles as a multi-touch mouse, as is able to track the user's finger movements.
It is now available for purchase via resellers.
