Synterra selects Genesys
Russian national telecommunications service provider Synterra has selected a software platforms from Genesys, reports Trading Markets.
Synterra says it chose this solution in response to the growing demand in the market to offer business customers quality communications services, such as an advanced complete call centre solution with high level of reliability, scalability and system distribution.
The complete contact centre solution incorporates Open IP Contact Centre and Genesys Voice Platforms. Synterra has already started a test operation of the new solution.
Thuraya gets new call centre
As part of an ongoing shift towards becoming a customer-centric organisation, Thuraya has recently inaugurated a new major call centre at its primary gateway in Sharjah, says AME Info.
Aiming at getting closer to subscribers and providing them with more information on the company`s services, the new centre is outfitted with hi-tech systems and multi-cultural staff that will improve Thuraya`s dedication to its customers.
Based on the interactive voice response technology, the centre is fully equipped to enhance Thuraya`s responsiveness to customer needs and complaints in a proactive manner. Furthermore, it will serve as a professional out-bound sales shop, by promoting and soft-selling the broad range of products and services to Thuraya customers.
Asia`s CRM market grows
The software as a service (SaaS) customer relationship management (CRM) market in Asia (excluding Japan) will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 61% between 2006 and 2010, according to Springboard Research, states Computer World.
The research firm pegged the SaaS CRM market in Asia at US$69 million in 2006, and expects it to reach US$460 million by 2010.
Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, India, and China are the key SaaS CRM markets in Asia Pacific. Of these, Australia remains the top market, accounting for 35% of all SaaS CRM sales generated in the region.
