Local data security solutions provider J2 Software has announced it is experiencing increased demand for the T3 SecurityKey as a result of the drastic increase in data and identity theft countrywide.
The T3 SecurityKey prevents unauthorised access to the private data on a computer or laptop.
According to J2 Software managing director John Mc Loughlin, even in the extreme case of physical theft, the users' confidential data is protected. Mc Loughlin says personal information contained on computers is worth far more money than the machine itself: "If you consider that most of a person's personal information is stored on a computer, and this typically includes online account access information, passwords, identity numbers and addresses, this is exactly the kind of information a person does not want to fall into the wrong hands."
