Tarsus Technologies has announced the signing of a new distribution agreement, which sees it bringing the aggressively priced AOC range of LED displays to South African shores.
Providing some background on the new agency, Darryl Squara, general manager at Tarsus, says AOC is responsible for the underlying technology inside a number of other brands of monitor available today.
"This means even though AOC is officially the sixth-largest brand of monitor in the world, if one includes the number of organisations it manufactures monitors for and on behalf of, it's by far the largest monitor manufacturer in the world," Squara says.
"We believe the AOC brand will fare well in the South African market, particularly because it strikes a fantastic balance between high quality and cost-efficiency.
"Our confidence in AOC is borne out by the massive support we're putting behind the brand and the fact that all AOC monitors will come with a three-year warranty," he concludes.
