The Deployment Pack integrates the Altiris eXpress Deployment Server with the exclusive ProLiant Integration Module using the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit - for fast and easy, drag-and-drop deployment and configuration of ProLiant servers.

Administrators can deploy and re-deploy hundreds of ProLiant servers from a central management console by simply dragging and dropping predefined images or scripts onto server icons.

"This is the ideal solution for large corporations with many servers," says the new HP ESG product manager at Tarsus Technologies, Greg Pothitos. "When a company needs to upgrade or roll-out new software, the system administrator needs only to set it up on one server, and then roll it out from there to multiple recipients. Large-scale server deployments that used to take hours or days can be done in as little as 30 minutes."

The Rapid Deployment Pack is designed for the entire line of ProLiant ML, DL and BL servers. The pack offers drag-and-drop simplicity for high-volume server environments running on either Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems.

The end result is smart automation that enables reliable and consistent configurations across multiple servers, using fewer IT resources.
