Hewlett Packard`s LaserJet 9000MFP series will be available from Tarsus Technologies at the end of April. The LaserJet 9000MFP has unparalleled performance and versatility for general office purposes and specialised printing.
"Customers who print from the Web or print complex documents may experience limited server space, which increases the stress on servers," says Traci Maynard, HP peripherals manager at Tarsus Technologies. "The HP LaserJet 9000MFP series limits these problems by printing 50 pages per minute, and includes a QED 300MHz processor and 64MB of memory."
The HP LaserJet 9000MFP series includes features like MFP digital sending software, network scanning and document distribution software; NSiquote2; and Autostore (third-party software that enables intelligent document capture, processing and routing into most popular applications).
"The printer series takes media of up to 216gsm and features edge-to-edge printing, which is great for document bleeding. The printer poses job retention in RAM and PostScript 3 emulation."
This new technology allows developers to modify the printer for customised behaviour, while the cluster printing option allows customers to group printers together. Dimms (dual in-line memory modules) enable printing of even more advanced barcodes (2D barcodes used by UPS) and e-forms add a professional look to print jobs coming from host applications, such as SAP.
In addition, the HP LaserJet 9000MFP series has advanced paper-handling solutions to complete professional printouts. "Host printing enables a user to connect the printer to any host using one of the many solutions from our JetCaps partners.
"Having shipped 50 million LaserJet printers in 15 years, it is clear that HP focuses on making technology and the benefits thereof accessible to individuals through easy-to-use technologies," concludes Maynard.
