Whether it`s a standard A4 text document all in black, or a large A3 graphic that needs to be printed in vibrant colours, the new HPDeskjet 9300 inkjet printer can handle it all at record speed.
In fact, the 9300 can handle just about any paper size, from A5, A6, A4, A3 and A3+, to index cards, greeting cards, labels, banners and envelopes. It can also print on media ranging in size from 60 to 280 g/m2. This means crisp colour pictures on photo paper, or high-quality printing for standard office tasks.
"A robust performer, the 9300 delivers professional print quality at impressive speeds of up to 14 pages per minute (ppm) black and 11ppm colour for A4-size prints," says Andre Wollheim, HP product manager at Tarsus Technologies. "Using HP Photoret III technology, users can deliver brilliant colour graphics and sharp images of up to 4 800dpi on photo paper."
HP has added additional features to ensure smoother running of the printer, such as low-ink LED indicator that will prevent users suddenly discovering they have run out of ink in the middle of a print job. Another popular addition is the "cancel" button on the printer that can stop printing if users discover a mistake.
The 5 000 page-per-month duty cycle provides a robust workhorse able to cater for the busiest inkjet printing requirements.
"You can also create a wide variety of collateral, like newsletters and brochures, without the need for special formatting thanks to HP`s exclusive driver features," adds Wollheim. "They transform a typical A4-size document into a range of output sizes, targeted at whatever specific requirements users may have."
Setting the printer up is a simple task as the plug-and-play USB interface makes connectivity a breeze. The 9300 is also network upgradeable by connecting it to the optional HP Jetdirect external print server.
