After a decision to focus on one best-of-breed monitor brand, the SamsungSyncMaster, Tarsus Technologies (the distribution arm of MB Technologies) has terminated its distribution agreement with CTX.
Sarah le Roux, business manager for Samsung at Tarsus Technologies, says: "We based our decision on the fact that Samsung has exceeded previous forecasts and on the outstanding support and funding we have received from Samsung Korea. We therefore felt it was wise to focus and consolidate our monitor offering, as we have a direct distribution agreement for Samsung SyncMaster monitors with Korea."
She adds that the decision was made in the best interests of both Tarsus and CTX and that it was a mutual agreement. CTX will continue to be distributed locally by it second distributor, MCA.
