Tarsus Technologies, the distribution arm of JSE-listed MB Technologies and an authorised distributor of Intel networking products, motherboards and servers, has taken a proactive approach to the distribution of Intel equipment through the selection of top level sales and technical skills to assure clients of the best quality and support at all times.
In accordance with this, Tarsus has appointed Paul van de Geest, an Intel Certified Solution Consultant, to augment the sales team.
According to Darryl Squara, product manager for Intel at Tarsus Technologies, the skills that van de Geest brings to the team enable Tarsus to offer a significant value-add to resellers. "Our highly experienced team has the ability to ensure the appropriate products are selected and that adequate consideration for future growth is taken," declares Squara.
Van de Geest adds that his expertise will be key in assisting resellers with product knowledge and support. "My experience in network design and product knowledge should prove invaluable in transferring skills to enable resellers to support end-users," he says.
Intel networking features a wide range of solutions from the small and home office scenario all the way through enterprise solutions. The acquisition by Intel of Shiva last year has broadened this offering to include leading VPN solutions.
