Tarsus Technologies has added momentum to the new HP`s focus-driven emphasis on digital photography. Three new HP digital camera models are now available from Tarsus Technologies, the value-add distribution arm of JSE-listed MB Technologies.
The flagship model is the HP Photosmart 812 digital camera with a 4-megapixel total resolution sensor. This unit has standard 16MB memory and a Pentax 3x optical zoom lens with 7x digital zoom.
"This camera offers a choice of up to 14 destinations for photos - including e-mail addresses, printers and storage devices," says Traci Maynard, HP IPG manager at Tarsus Technologies.
With the HP Photosmart 812, your personal memories can be recorded in sound and motion using video clip capture with audio. In addition, the optional camera dock allows for easy connection to a PC.
Also in stock are the entry-level HP Photosmart 318 and the HP Photosmart 715 digital cameras.
The HP Photosmart 318 is a fully automatic 2.3 megapixel digital camera and features a 2x digital zoom capacity and 8MB of memory. Photos can be easily previewed with the 1.75-inch colour liquid crystal display and quickly downloaded to either a PC or a Mac.
Finally, the high-resolution 3.3 megapixel HP Photosmart 715 digital camera produces sharp quality photos via a 46mm lens and photos can be saved to the standard 16MB memory card.
Up to 6x zoom capability can be achieved via a 3x optical zoom lens with 2x digital zoom functionality.
There are optional accessories available for all these models, including the P100 as the portable photo printer. "Tarsus Technologies joins in the new HP`s digital success by offering our clients the best digital solution for their needs," concludes Maynard.
