Tarsus thanks its resellers for another successful year

Johannesburg, 27 Aug 2001

Tarsus Technologies, a member of JSE-listed MB Technologies Limited, is thanking its resellers for yet another highly successful year by giving them a little extra. For the last week (27 to 31 August) of the company`s financial year, all orders invoiced (excluding special bids and other special pricing deals) will receive double TravelByte points.

"This is our way of saying thank you to our customers for all their support during the past 12 months, and for helping us to have another great year," says managing director Guy Whitcroft. "By earning double TravelBytes, resellers will be able to reach their dream destination a little bit sooner, or reduce the cost of their business travel even further."

Whitcroft points out that resellers must be members of Tarsus Technologies` PartnerRewards loyalty scheme in order to qualify, "so those who haven`t yet signed up should do so without further delay".

The PartneRewards programme offers a host of breakaway options, which can be used for business travel, fun getaways, safari adventures or overseas holidays. "It allows resellers to customise their own breakaways - they can either travel alone, with a partner, their entire family or even treat a business partner or client to a holiday as a purchase incentive," says PartneRewards administrator Michelle Collins.

Once a reseller has enrolled, every order that is placed with participating PartneReward companies in the MB Technologies group earns them points, or TravelBytes. These TravelBytes are automatically allocated according to the value of the order.

"With only 20 000 TravelBytes, a member can enjoy a free return Economy Class airfare on Air France from Johannesburg via Paris to London. A member can enjoy the wealth of new business opportunities as well as the magnificent sight of one of the world`s most interesting cities," Collins continues.

"With only 25 850 TravelBytes, a member can enjoy two nights of luxury accommodation at the Cape Grace hotel in the beautiful city of Cape Town," she adds.

There is also the option of a scuba diving course capped by four dives at Sodwana Bay, or a quick flight to Cape Town or Durban for the weekend. Members with sufficient TravelBytes can book a visit to Disney World, a Caribbean cruise aboard a five star luxury cruiser, or a skiing holiday in the Swiss Alps.

TravelBytes can also be used to book a local wine route, a trip to Robben Island, visit to the aquarium or even a day at Ratunga Junction.

To exchange TravelBytes for a breakaway, resellers need simply to contact PartneRewards and a package that suits their needs will be designed. Their TravelByte account will then be debited with the applicable amount.
