Tarsus Technologies recently took 20 top Samsung SyncMaster resellers on a skiing trip to St. Johann, Austria.
Despite the tragic events surrounding the avalanches in many of the nearby resorts, St. Johann and the Tarsus tour remained relatively unscathed. That is except for Lawrence Friedman of the Connection Group, who broke his ankle on the first night of the tour during his attempt at snow bagging.
Sarah le Roux, Samsung business manager at Tarsus Technologies, says a great time was had by all. "We had excellent skiing conditions for most of the week, and everybody got a chance to ski - even first-timers. It was a great opportunity to build relationships with our reseller channel."
The sales incentive was based across three groups of resellers, with the top few in each group winning a double ticket to St. Johann for one week. "We split the reseller channel into three to enable the smaller dealers to have a fair chance at winning," explains le Roux.
