Tech programme gives teens options

Juniors and seniors from Seguin High School and New Braunfels High School will be able to earn about 30 college credit hours by attending classes at Manufacturing Technology Academy at Central Texas Technology Centre, while learning real-world work skills that can take them directly into a manufacturing career, says Seguin Gazette.

In order to qualify, students must be at least a junior in high school and willing to commit to more than two hours of college classes each weekday. In return, the students graduate with a certificate of completion equal to what college students receive at St. Philip's College.
