The agreement to exclusively distribute Virtual Motion`s Internet LanBridge and Internet MailBridge, which terminated on 28 February 2000, has not been renewed.
Gauteng based Microsoft Certified Solutions Consultant - Teklab has been selling and supporting the products locally since 1998. We have been experiencing problems with the products that Virtual Motion has been unable to assist with in the past twelve or so months.
We have a large dealer and customer base in the market currently which we will continue to support for a limited period of time - time frame to be announced at a later stage.
As an alternative to the two products we highly recommend the Intel InBusiness range of products.
The Intel InBusiness Internet Station 56K combines a 56 Kbps (kilobits per second) V.90 analog modem with a four-port 10Mbps (megabits per second) network hub for easy sharing of office resources and Internet access. Some key benefits include: simultaneous Internet access for your company, combines up to two analog modems for high-speed Internet access, Improves company communications with customised web links and traffic filtering, provides easy network configuration with a simple web browser.
The Intel InBusiness eMail Station is a highly integrated email server which provides small businesses the ability to locally manage and configure their own email accounts. It also serves as a useful tool when managing and consolidating Internet email for wide area communications and remote users. The Intel InBusiness eMail Station allows users to manage and configure their local area network and its client configurations by providing DHCP and DNS services. The eMail station supports 2 common email protocols, SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and POP3 (Post Office Protocol).
