The Israeli data security company Beyond Security, which manages controls and monitors enterprise data systems, has signed a distribution agreement with Telecor, a member of the Spanish telecoms group El Corte Ingles (ECI).
Beyond Security says the scope of the alliance is about $5 million over three years.
Telecor supplies telecom services over the ECI commercial network. It will be selling the Beyond Security systems and services, including its Automated Scanning products, in Spain.
The `Automated Scanning` product is a vulnerability assessment engine that locates information security weaknesses at both network and application levels. The company says that by mid-year 2002 it had scanned over 2,000 companies a month in Israel and around the world, including Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions.
Beyond Security was officially launched in October 1999. Headquartered in Netanya, Israel, the company maintains offices in South Africa and Australia.
