Prisma Solutions, the sole distributor of Cardiff TELEform in Southern Africa, has been appointed as an International Distributor for the IMR Alchemy family of products in South Africa.
Prisma, a leading provider of software solutions for SME`s and large organisations, believe that the Alchemy family of products will have the ability to augment its current business offering.
As an International Distributor of Alchemy, Prisma Solutions will support and market the Alchemy suite of software and services to resellers and end users. In addition Prisma Solutions will be empowered with a variety of tools and resources, including technical and sales support, product discounts and marketing leads.
Alchemy is defined through its capability of efficiently managing a businesses` unstructured data in a single repository. The product creates document databases that manages diverse documents and data formats providing a variety of options for data capture, indexing, storage and archive management. The product is both Windows and web compatible, and has programmable interfaces to allow for further custom development.
Alchemy consists of two main products - namely Build and Search. Build is used to add documents to the databases. It includes full-text, document fields, folder field and annotation text indexing. Alchemy Build has the capability to archive entire document databases to any storage media.
Search is a full-featured Windows client used to search for and retrieve documents. There is no restriction on the amount of users accessing a single database and it can be queried by using either full-text or data field indexes.
