Least-cost routing company Telemasters has appointed Nolene Owen as financial director with immediate effect.
Brandon Topham will cease to be the company's FD and will become a non-executive director, the company says, without providing reasons.
Owen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BCom Law degree. She completed her articles with Deloitte & Touche in 2001 and remained with Deloitte & Touche Forensic Services until March 2003.
In April 2003 she joined BMW SA, where she was responsible for the financial accounting for the BMW local market and for the implementation of various cost control methodologies.
In December 2005, Owen joined Acc-Ross Holdings, a property development company listed on the Alt-X, as FD. She has also completed the Alt-X Directors Programme, in October 2006, through the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management at the University of the Witwatersrand's Graduate School of Business Administration.
Owen holds a certificate in Crime Intelligence from the Technicon Pretoria.
“The board welcomes Nolene and looks forward to the contribution she will make to the company,” TeleMasters says.
