Telkom has launched a business ucapped Internet usage plan, which includes a range of uncapped Internet products that cater to the small business market (SMEs).

"Business Uncapped consists of a range of affordable uncapped Internet offers suitable for small offices with up to five users," says Carel Booysen, executive of and Internet at Telkom.

"The idea is to give small businesses priority on the network during office hours, allowing for an uncapped Internet experience suitable for business essential functions like browsing, e-mail and file transfer.

"Business customers can now use bandwidth-intensive applications like 'sync and share' and remote backup, for prioritised e-mail, browsing and software-as-a-service."

The latest product inclusion, says Telkom, is the middle-of-the-range offering in Telkom Business' broadband portfolio and is targeted at customers seeking a product that resides between the Business SoftCapped and Premium Uncapped offers.

Premium Uncapped offers customers multiple concurrent users and high performance with prioritisation over the network, throughout the day. It also includes up to 40Mbps access speeds in areas where Telkom has deployed multi-service access nodes.
