Grintek Telecom has received Telkom's prestigious Quetel Gold accreditation for service excellence for the second year in a row. The accreditation recognises the quality management system and special control measures implemented by Telkom suppliers and their compliance with the standards set by the telecommunications company.
Says Jackie Rawlins, Quality Assurance manager at Grintek Telecom: "Grintek Telecom views the ISO 9002 and Quetel Gold Certificate of Excellence as a benchmark to provide our customers with world-class technology solutions. Developed by Telkom and in operation since 1999, it ensures that Grintek Telecom maintains uniform quality assurance and service levels - essential to Telkom Quality requirements in order to function as a world-class telecom operator.
"In order to qualify for a Quetel accreditation, suppliers must submit to an annual audit as well as quarterly surveillance audits conducted by Telkom Quality Consultants to ensure that the Telkom quality standards are maintained."
Adds Rawlins: "As one of Telkom's top 20 suppliers, Grintek Telecom takes its commitment to providing quality solutions to the customer very seriously. With emphasis on quality and innovation, we see ourselves as a truly international player in the telecoms market."
