Telkom has reshuffled its management to help it compete effectively in the changing telecommunications marketplace.
Telkom CEO Sizwe Nxasana said in announcing the changes late last week: "The team will continue to realise group strategy which is to focus on customer growth and retention, drive operational excellence, and sustain and develop the marketplace."
Wally Beelders, previously managing executive of international and special markets, has been appointed managing executive of corporate accounts.
Minnie Maharaj, previously executive, will take over from Beelders as managing executive of wholesale services (formerly known as international and special markets).
Deon Fredericks, executive at group finance, has been appointed chief accountant.
Mike Mlengana, previously managing executive of public services, is now group executive of business development. The initial focus of this service organisation will be business expansion into Africa.
Motlatsi Nzeku, previously executive at customer services, has been appointed group executive of procurement services.
Amanda Singleton, currently group executive of corporate communication, has been appointed managing executive of customer services.
Lulu Letlape, former executive at corporate communication, has been appointed group executive of corporate communication.
