The last time ITWeb conducted a readership survey, the Web was 'new media', e-mail was 'instant messaging' and 'social media' referred to the comments that people posted on stories. Now, however, there are many additional platforms and opportunities for ITWeb and its readers.
The ICT industry in SA has also undergone many changes and tremendous growth since those days. It, therefore, stands to reason that what local ICT professionals want to know now might be a little different.
The 2011 ITWeb Reader Survey will ask, among other things: Where readers source their ICT news, how they choose to access ITWeb, how often they access ITWeb, and readers' opinion of ITWeb.
