Tenda deploys SME router

Cavium Networks, a provider of semiconductor products, revealed that Tenda Technology, which offers and LAN networking for consumer and small and medium enterprise (SME) users, has started to deploy its next generation of security router, states Info Tech.

Tenda's SME routers are based on Cavium's ECONA CNS3XXX SoC. The company has utilised the advanced technology from ECONA CNS3XXX to enable their products to support advanced features like Internet Access Management, Stateful firewall, IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and URL filtering to address the critical market demands.

The security router product family offers scalable platforms targeting low-, mid- and high-end SOHO and SME applications. Tenda Technology is the second largest vendor by unit shipments in China for SME and Security gateways.

Konica Minolta acquires All Covered

Konica Minolta Business Solutions has acquired All Covered, a leading provider of Managed IT Services to the SME market, notes e-Channel line.

A nationwide technology services organisation, All Covered delivers a diverse range of services including proactive server management, remote monitoring, cloud computing, on-site network support and consulting through their 22 offices across the US.

The All Covered acquisition will build upon Konica Minolta's current Managed IT Services offerings and allow Konica Minolta to extend the reach of solutions and services it can offer its customers.

Lenovo reveals SME solutions

Lenovo revealed its range of computing solutions for SMEs such as the IdeaPads V360 and V460 and the ThinkCentre A85, which allows SMEs to focus on growing their business and not managing their IT systems, says Hardware Zone.

Lenovo's commitment to deliver superior products, with the technologies and innovations that make a difference to customers is also validated by Technology Business Research's (TBR) ranking of Lenovo as number one in its Desktop Corporate IT Buying Behaviour and Customer Satisfaction for 3Q 2010.

Eugene Liew, country manager, Home and Small-Medium Business, Lenovo Singapore says: “The results mark the second consecutive time that TBR has recognised Lenovo as the highest in overall customer satisfaction for the desktop sector. Lenovo received higher-than-average scores across the areas of hardware reliability, delivery time and parts availability.”
