Teradata maintains leadership in overall data warehouse comparisons from leading analyst firm

Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation, has for the third consecutive year maintained the overall leadership position in the newly released Gartner, Inc Data Warehouse Application Server Evaluation Model (ASEM) update, while widening its lead over the competition. Teradata is represented exclusively in SA by National Data Systems (NDS).

Published annually as a guide for executives who are considering data warehousing solutions, the ASEM update evaluates how various data warehousing providers stack up against each other. The model calculates relative scores for all major database and hardware platforms based on the most important selection criteria for data warehousing in four categories: technology, market momentum, business practice and database.
