The comQuest 2.0 dashboard - cruise control for transformation

The Satori Group SA today launched comQuest 2.0, a dashboard-driven information gathering and analysis system specifically designed to integrate quantitative and qualitative data.

Transformation is the buzz-word of the moment in South African business. But how exactly can one get to the root the transformation process? "There are so many non-numerical variables that it can be impossible to get the full picture with traditional business intelligence solutions," says Di King, Managing Director of the Satori Group SA.

With that in mind, the original comQuest was developed, implemented and has now been overhauled into comQuest 2.0.

The new version of comQuest went through an arduous improvement process, taking feedback from the customers and implementing new features that further define comQuest's place in the market.

The ability to manage both numbers - quantitative data - and contextual, non-numerical facts - qualitative data - creates an information-gathering and processing solution that is capable of capturing the impact of any number of otherwise ephemeral facets of doing business. Whether it is transformation, sustainability reporting or corporate governance, comQuest can gather the information and provide a means to analyse it.

Rigorously tested by an internationally certified ISEB/ISTQB tester, comQuest 2.0 brings functionality and ease of use together at a whole new level. This leaves businessmen and women free to fulfil their functions, and not have to worry about knowing complicated computer programming techniques. The user interface is streamlined, and handled entirely via the intuitive dashboard system accessed through the Web browser. It allows the administrator to see who has provided what information, so they can determine responsibility (and occasionally culpability).

When it comes to managing comQuest's back-end, Satori offers two options. The first option is out-and-out ownership of the program, where the IT department is responsible for the maintenance of the database, with on-call support from Satori consultants. The second is an Saas (Software as a service) system, where Satori is responsible for the maintenance of the back-end.
