The CRM Roadshow for FSPs coming to Jhb

Johannesburg, 07 Mar 2017

Global technology consultancy and development organisation Mint Group in conjunction with technology giant Microsoft will be hosting South Africa's first CRM Roadshow on the 29th of March, 2017, specifically for the financial services industry - an event that has been hosted throughout Africa and is coming to Johannesburg.

Mint Group CEO Carel du Toit notes that, following the announcement of the events hosted across Africa, there has been an increase in queries for a similar event to be hosted locally as a result of the complexities of the Financial Services Industry and the need for collaboration.

He explains that "owing to the pressure to conform to stringent regulatory requirements, the need to meet consumer expectations, the ever-increasing competitive environment, as well as the stress of ensuring client retention while enabling growth, Financial Services Providers (FSPs) are realising the importance of using technology to digitally transform and are eager to learn more."

Therefore, the roadshow aims to unite South Africa's leading FSPs and address the challenges that they are experiencing, encourage interactive discussions, and expose them to industry thought leaders as well as practical examples of digital transformation through customer centricity.

Du Toit notes that the interest in this event has been overwhelming with registrations coming in from both local and international organisations with the latter opting to attend the event via a live broadcast. "This highlights the desire that FSPs have to get together and share how they are mitigating challenges and tackling opportunities in an industry that moves at a mile a minute."

To ensure that all concerns in terms of security, technology, regulatory requirements, client retention and growth are discussed, an impressive line-up of speakers will be addressing attendees on the 29th of March coupled with an expert-panel discussion where questions submitted by attendee's will be addressed.

Roadshow Sessions

1.Regulatory Compliance in the FSI

Edward Blake Group will be addressing the regulatory compliance requirements that FSPs are faced with and will showcase how technology can help manage and streamline compliance while enabling customer centricity.

2. Customer Centricity and Technology

Microsoft and Mint will be discussing the importance that technology plays in enabling customer centricity, which is leading to a new era in digital transformation for FSPs. With customers getting more mobile and social, FSPs need to focus on their transformation journey and ensure that it delivers a digital experience for the customer while offering services at anytime, anywhere, on any device, across any channel.

3.Expert Speaker Panel

The Expert Speaker Panel will comprise five FSI experts that will address attendees' questions regarding regulations, technology, client retention and security.

One of the organisations that will form part of the panel to address security concerns is NewOrder Industries - the leading hacking and espionage service provider to local FSPs. With 48% of malware attacks occurring in the FSI, security is one of the main concerns.

Customers are looking for peace of mind and comfort that their details are secure when dealing with any online transactions. A public data breach of any kind is enough for clients to question the integrity of their information and some may even choose not to do business with that supplier/banker or Internet Service Provider.

4. Case studies of digital transformation

Leading financial institutions, such as Nedbank, will be showcasing how they use technology to ensure client centricity and how digital transformation enables FSPs to increase employee productivity and efficiency and, therefore, customer satisfaction.
